Update

As many of you may already know, I made an early trip back home to Texas due to the unexpected death of my grandfather and left Jeremy all alone in San Jose. I spent two weeks in Tyler with family and friends, and just returned to Costa Rica last night, with our dog Mia in tow.

The transition from life in Costa Rica back to two weeks of Tyler, Texas was an interesting one. It is so strange how you can truly feel out of place in your own country, your home, after returning from another part of the world. I feel like I no longer exclusively belong to either...I am a weird hybrid mixture of the two places.

Anyway, I had a great time at home with loved ones, and the weeks truly flew by like a whirlwind. Now, we are preparing to move to Puerto Viejo, where we will be living, in about a week and a half. We are so looking forward to settling in somewhere and ending this extensive transition period that we have been experiencing! As we continue praying for all of you, please continue your prayers for us! I have a feeling that this final transition will be a huge adjustment, and your prayers are so appreciated. More to come, but until next time...

  1. Kerbi,

I don't know if you remember me, but I used to go to school with you back in the day. I am in awe of your ministry and life. It is truly inspiring, and I have to say - reading your blogs is addictive. Congratulations on your marriage, ministry, and your new home south of the equator. I look forward to your updates!
