We went to watch Jeremy's brother, Josh, coach the Junior High Bluecat football team on Thursday night, relaxed Friday night, then enjoyed everyone's company at a housewarming party on Saturday. Finally, on Sunday morning, we had to say our goodbyes, which was really hard. Jeremy's sweet grandmother, Sue, is suffering from the early stages of Alzheimer's, so it was especially hard saying goodbye to her because we have no idea whether or not she will remember us when we return. She helped raise Jeremy and his brother, Josh, all throughout their childhood, and I know it was painful for Jeremy to sacrifice his relationship with his grandmother during the time that we are away.
Thanks to Kenny and Gwen for having us in their beautiful (and finished!) home, thanks to Jeff and Brandi for driving all the way down from Abilene with their newborn baby girl to see us, thanks Josh for hanging out, and Uncle Mike! You will all be so dearly missed!
